Hey Seekers of MaD-slash-SnoW-capped BeeR Adventures:

THANKS to all of you for supporting the release and sales of The Viking, our special commemorative Dark Strong Ale brewed for long-time friend and homebrewer Dave Yanoshek. 140+ cases sold on FRI/SAT with about 25 cases left. If you want to enjoy this wonderful beer -- now and in the coming years -- come by the brewery this week to grab yer bottles or cases to go. Cafe Amsterdam received the only "off-site" keg; it was tapped on SAT. Check in on it. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Yanoshek family. Thanks for helping us knock this out in a timely manner. The beer community is alive and thriving in this town.

A "sign from Dave" appeared at the brewery on FRI eve. Gabe and Mark noticed a barley plant growing right next to one of our bay doors, between the parking lot asphalt and the brewery concrete floor. First, barley is kilned and malted so it's amazing that a grain managed to germinate at all. Second, this plant managed to survive the forklift, hot water, hoses and foot traffic in that area. Third, no one noticed it until The Viking release. It's about a foot tall now. Dave says "THanKs for remembering me and looking out for my family."

FRI 09/26 Humpback Jack Pumpkin Ale
Our perennial autumn gala-in-a-glass makes a smashing comeback with gorgeous orange color, delicious malt and sweet spices. HJPA is a wonderful accompaniment to autumn fare and that crisp nip in the air. Draft only.

FRI 10/03 Berserker oak-aged Imperial Stout
Tipping that pesky breathalizer at 12.7% ABV, this beast may very well kill ya but give it a good fight! It's vicious yet amazingly delicioius. Bottles only.

FRI 10/10 Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter
This completely insane how-can-I-get-that-much-flavor-into-my-mouth beer comes back with the same GABF gold medal-winning recipe. Of course, some of the batch will go into oak barrels for a late winter release. Why? Because once we find ways to make U happy, we execute, rinse and repeat. Bottles only.

FRI 10/31SATURN Belgian-style Fresh Hop IPA
Freshly harvested Centennial and Cascade hops "dry hop" this wonderful IPA, created to celebrate the Planet with Rings named after the God of Agriculture. Bottles and draft. [No label or sell sheet yet.]
