Kveik like a duck and drink like a fish, because our new Norwegian Farmhouse IPA is ducking delish.
Kveik, (pronounced “kuh-vike”) is the traditional Norwegian word for an ancient yeast birthed in Norway that’s teeming with complex aromatics and fantastic fruity flavors. The Hornindal Kveik yeast strain, more specifically, was the first kveik yeast strain MSBC ever used and has been a brewhouse favorite ever since; hosting hints of tropical fruit, stone fruit and dried leather that harmonize with the Equanot & Wakatu hops used to produce strong notes of mandarine orange & lime with a nice balancing floral element. Hopped and loaded with a tropical twist, Kveik like a Duck keeps the sweet scent of summer flowing with every sip.
